Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of simulation training in the teaching of clinical obstetrics interns. Methods Seventy interns from the obstetrics in our hospital from January to December in 2018 were selected as subjects. They were divided into the control group and the experimental group according to the random digital table method, 35 interns in each group. The control group used the organizational teaching, while the experimental group used the obstetric simulation training method, after 6 months internship, the learning effect, total teaching satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of specialist theoretical knowledge, medical history collection skills, and clinical operation skills in experimental group were all higher than those of the control group, and the differences were all statistically significant (P<0.05).The total teaching satisfaction of the experimental group was 97.1%, higher than 88.6% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The obstetrics simulation training teaching method can deepen the interns′ understanding of the theoretical knowledge of obstetric nursing, improve the theoretical knowledge level, and enhance the practical ability of interns to solve clinical obstetric diagnosis and treatment problems independently, which is welcomed to interns.
