Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of vaginal ultrasound and abdominal ultrasound diagnosis in obstetrics and gynecology diseases. Methods A total of 126 patients suspected with gynecologic diseases admitted to our hospital from May 16,2017 to May 16,2018 were selected as the research objects. Each patient was examined by vaginal ultrasound and abdominal ultrasound.Taking pathological biopsy results as gold standard, the diagnostic accuracy, specificity, sensitivity, misdiagnosis rate and missed diagnosis rate of the two ultrasound examination methods were compared. Results The diagnostic accuracy of vaginal ultrasound for placenta previa, acute pelvic inflammatory disease, ectopic pregnancy, corpus luteum rupture, adenomyosis (100.00%,93.75%,94.74%,100.00%,98.25%) were higher than those of abdominal ultrasound (60.00%,62.50%,63.16%,83.33%,71.93%),the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The sensitivity and specificity of vaginal ultrasound in the diagnosis of obstetrics and gynecology diseases (97.09%,95.65%) were higher than those of abdominal ultrasound (68.93%,69.57%),the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The misdiagnosis rate and the missed diagnosis rate of vaginal ultrasound in the diagnosis of obstetrics and gynecology diseases (4.35%,2.91%) were lower than those of abdominal ultrasound (30.43%,31.07%),the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Vaginal ultrasound examination can provide more reliable basis for the diagnosis of diseases and the formulation of diagnosis and treatment plans, can improve the correct diagnosis rate of diseases and reduce the misdiagnosis rate and missed diagnosis rate.
