Abstract:Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of the tube-padding combined therapy in the treatment of high complex anal fistula. Methods A total of 80 patients with high complex anal fistula in our hospital from October 2016 to September 2017 were selected and they were randomly divided into control group(n=40)and observation group(n=40).The control group was treated by incision-thread-drawing procedure, and the observation group was treated with the combined therapy of tubing and cotton.Clinical cure rate, pain level, wound healing time and anorectal pressure were compared, meanwhile recurrence rate and adverse reaction were observed.Results①There was no significant difference of the clinical cure rate and recurrence rate between the two groups(P>0.05);②The pain value of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group on the 10 th and 14 th day after treatment(P<0.05);③The wound healing time in the observation group was significantly shorter than that of the control group (P<0.01);④The 20 mm systolic pressure and resting pressure of the two groups were significantly lower than before operation at 3 months after healing(P<0.01),the systolic and resting pressure of 20 mm in the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group at 3 months after healing, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).⑤There were no adverse reactions in both groups during the course of treatment. Conclusion The combined therapy of tubing and cotton with towed thread can be effective and safe in the treatment of high complex anal fistula.
