Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of pelvic external fixation in the treatment of pelvic fractures. Methods From May 20th,2016 to May 20th,2017,a total of 106 patients with pelvic fractures treated in our hospital were selected as research objects and they were divided into the conventional group(n=53)and the experimental group(n=53)by the envelop random grouping method. In the conventional group, patients were treated with a traditional incision reduction for internal fixation, while in the experimental group, external pelvic fixation was added. The excellent and good therapeutic rate, the time of porosis, and the time of getting out of bed were compared between the two groups. Results The rate of excellent and good treatment in the experimental group (98.11%)was significantly higher than that of the conventional group(79.24%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The time of porosis and the time of getting out of bed were significantly shorter in the experimental group([30.85±4.12]d,[3.36±0.50]weeks)than in the conventional group([37.85±4.25]d,[4.18±0.46]weeks),with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with pelvic fracture, external pelvic fixation can obtain a remarkable effect, which shortens the time for getting out of bed and promotes early recovery of the body.
