Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of Risperidone on psychiatric symptoms, nerve function and social function in patients with mental disorders induced by craniocerebral injury. Methods A total of 40 patients with mental disorders induced by craniocerebral injury from October 2017 to October 2019 in our hospital were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, all participants were divided into the observation group(20 cases)and the control group(20 cases). The observation group was treated with routine therapy combined with Risperidone, while the control group was treated with routine therapy. The scores of National Institutes of Health Stroke scale(NIHSS),positive and negative syndrome scale(PANSS),activity of daily living(ADL)and treatment emergent symptom scale(TESS) were compared between the two groups before treatment and after 8 weeks of treatment. Results After 8 weeks of treatment, the total scores of NIHSS and PANSS in the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After 8 weeks of treatment, the total scores of ADL and TESS in the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion The combination of Risperidone can promote the recovery of neurological function, improve the mental symptoms and improve the social function of patients with mental disorders induced by craniocerebral injury.
