Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of Jinshuibao Capsules on renal function of patients with severe stroke combined with hypernatremia and hyperchloremia. Methods A total of 148 patients with severe stroke admitted to People′s Hospital of Yichun City from March 2018 to December 2020 were selected as the research objects, including 72 patients with hypernatremia and hyperchloremia and 76 patients without hypernatremia and hyperchloremia. In addition, 72 patients with hypernatremia and hyperchloremia were divided into group A (36 cases) and group B (36 cases)by random number table method. Seventy-six patients without hypernatremia hyperchloremia were divided into group C(38 cases) and group D (38 cases) by random number table method. Patients in group A and group C were treated with conventional comprehensive treatment, while patients in group B and group D were treated with Jinshuibao Capsules.Neurological function and renal function were compared between the four groups. Results Before treatment, there were no statistically significant differences in neurological function between group B and A, group D and C, group B and D,group A and C (P>0.05). After treatment, the scores of National Institutes of Health stroke scale (NIHSS) and modified Rankin scale (mRS) in four groups were lower than those before treatment, and the Glasgow coma (GCS) scores were higher than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, NIHSS score and mRS score of group B were lower than those of group A, GCS score was higher than that of group A, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, NIHSS score and mRS score in group D were lower than those in group C, and GCS score was higher than that in group C, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, NIHSS score and mRS score of group B were higher than those of group D, GCS score was lower than that of group D, NIHSS score and mRS score of group A were higher than those of group C, GCS score was lower than that of group C, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no statistical significant difference in renal function among the four groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the levels of blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and creatinine (Cr) in four groups were lower than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of BUN and Cr in group B were lower than those in group A, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of BUN and Cr in group D were lower than those in group C, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the BUN and Cr of group B were higher than those of group D, and the BUN and Cr of group A were higher than those of group C, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Jinshuibao Capsules can enhance the curative effect of severe stroke complicated with hypernatremia and hyperchloremia, accelerate the recovery of neurological function of patients, reduce the damage of renal function, and facilitate the early recovery of patients.
