Abstract:Objective To study and analyze the improvement effect of holistic nursing intervention on patients′ mental state and quality of life in the treatment of patients in the department of infectious diseases.Methods A total of 120 patients who were admitted to Fuzhou First People′s Hospital from June 2018 to June 2020 were selected.All patients were divided into the study group and the control group according to the order of admission, 60 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional nursing, and the study group was treated with holistic nursing intervention.The mental state improvement, quality of life improvement and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results In the study group, the self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS)scores after nursing were lower than those before nursing, and the quality of life score (QOL) after nursing was higher than that before nursing, with statistical differences (P<0.05).In the control group, the SAS and SDS scores after nursing were lower than those before nursing, and the QOL score after nursing was higher than that before nursing, with statistical differences (P<0.05).No significant differences were observed in the SAS score, SDS score and QOL score between the two groups before nursing (P>0.05).After nursing, the SAS score and SDS score of the study group were lower than those of the control group, and the QOL score of the study group was higher than that of the control group,with statistical differences (P<0.05).The total satisfaction of nursing in the study group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Holistic nursing intervention can effectively improve the mental state and quality of life of patients, and improve nursing satisfaction, with the significant effect.
