Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of invasive mechanical ventilation in the treatment of ICU severe heart failure. Methods A total of 88 ICU patients with severe heart failure admitted to Fujian Provincial Hospital South Branch from September 2018 to September 2020 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into control group (44 cases) and observation group (44 cases) according to the random number table method. The control group was treated with conventional treatment strategy, and the observation group was treated with invasive mechanical ventilation combined with conventional treatment strategy. The rates of clinical improvement, heart rate (HR), respiratory rate(RR), and total incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups were compared. Results The excellent and good rate of clinical condition improvement in the observation group was higher than that of the control group after 7 days of treatment, with statistical significance (P<0.05).After 7 days of treatment, HR, RR and the total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group were lower than those of the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05).Conclusion Invasive mechanical ventilation has better efficacy in the treatment of ICU severe heart failure, which can more effectively control the condition, improve the levels of HR and RR, and reduce the total incidence of adverse reactions, which is worthy of recommendation.
