Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of communication skills and predictive nursing on self-care ability of hemodialysis (HD) patients. Methods A total of 80 cases of HD patients in Fuzhou First People′s Hospital, Jiangxi Province from May 2018 to April 2020 were selected as study objects, and were divided into two groups according to the odd and even method, 40 cases in each group. The odd number was the control group, routine nursing was given;the even number was the experimental group, communication skills combined with predictive nursing was given. The exercise of self-care agency (ESCA), health survey scale (SF-36) score before and after nursing, nursing satisfaction score and the incidence of adverse events and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results There were no significant differences in the scores of ESCA and SF-36 between the two groups before nursing (P>0.05); after nursing, the scores of ESCA and SF-6 in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); the score of nursing satisfaction in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, the incidence of adverse events in the experimental group was 5.0%, lower than 22.5%in the control group, and the incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group was 2.50%, lower than 20.5% in the control group, the difference were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Communication skills and predictive nursing have a significant effect in self-care ability of HD patients, which can significantly improve the self-care ability of patients, reduce the incidence of adverse reactions and adverse events, improve the safety and quality of life, and obtain more recognition and love of patients, which is worthy of clinical implementation.
