Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of Dexamethasone combined with Ropivacaine erectorspinae plane block(ESPB)for posterior lumbar interbody fusion(PLIF).Methods A total of 60 patients with elective PLIF surgery treated in Ganzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from September 2019 to October 2020 were selected as the research subjects, and were divided into an experimental group(n=30)and a control group(n=30)by the random number table method. The control group was given general anesthesia, and the experimental group was combined Dexamethasone with Ropivacaine ESPB on this basis. The total intraoperative dose of Cisatracurium, the total intraoperative dose of Sufentanil, the number of postoperative intravenous analgestic pump(PCIA)press and the visual analogue scale(VAS)of pain scores at different time(4,8,12,24 and 48 h after surgery)were compared between the two groups. Results The total intraoperative dose of Cisatracurium, the total intraoperative dose of Sufentanil and the number of PCIA press after operation in experimental group were lower than those in control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences between the two groups in terms of intergroup, time point and interaction(P<0.05).VAS scores at 8,12,24 and 48 h after surgery in the two groups were higher than those at 4 h after surgery, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).VAS scores of experimental group at 4,8,12,24 and 48 h after surgery were all lower than those of control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Dexamethasone combined with Ropivacaine ESPB for PLIF surgery can reduce the dosage of sedative and analgesic drugs and muscle relaxants, and reduce postoperative pain in patients. It is worthy of clinical promotion.
