Abstract：Objective To study the effect of early treatment with Danggui Sini Decoction plus or minus in postmenopausal patients with low back pain. Methods A total of 60 patients with postmenopausal low back pain admitted to the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital of Xingguo County from November 2018 to November 2020 were selected as the research subjects and divided into control group and treatment group by random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. The control group was treated with conventional anti-osteoporosis regimen. The treatment group was treated with Danggui Sini Decoction plus or minus scheme. The total effective rate of drug therapy was compared between the two groups. The total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups was compared and recorded. The time of pain symptoms to disappear, the time when lumbar and back mobility returned to normal, and the total time of hospitalization were compared between the two groups. The pain degree, quality of life and Oswestry disability index (ODI) scores were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Bone mineral density before and after treatment was compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of drug therapy in treatment group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The total incidence of adverse drug reactions in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The time of pain disappearance, the time of low back activity returning to normal and the total time of hospitalization in the treatment group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, ODI score and visual analogue scale (VAS) score in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group, and the MOS item short from health survey (SF-36) score in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, there was no significant difference in T value of bone mineral density between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion Early treatment of postmenopausal low back pain patients with Danggui Sini Decoction plus or minus scheme can reduce the total incidence of adverse reactions, relieve pain in a short time, restore the activity of the back and back, shorten the total time of disease control and treatment, and significantly improve the total effective rate.
