Clinical observation of Resuqing Granules for children combined with Ribavirin in the treatment of hand-foot-mouth diseases

Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of Resuqing Granules for children combined with Ribavirin in the treatment of hand-foot-mouth diseases.Methods 80 children with hand-foot-mouth diseases treated in our hospital from November 2015 to November 2016 were selected as subjects.By a random number table,they were evenly divided into observation group and control group,40 cases in each group.The children in the control group were treated with Ribavirin,and the children in the observation group were treated with Resuqing Granule on the base of Ribavirin.The related indicators including the disappearing time of rash,fever-abating time and therapeutic effect of the two groups were observed and compared.Results In the observation group,the disappearing time of rash,fever-abating time and healing time were respectively[(3.78±1.61)d,(2.42±0.32)d,(5.28±1.37)d],which were much better than those in the control group[(6.15±1.53)d,(4.63±1.12)d,(7.43±1.13)d],and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate in the observation group(95%)was higher than that in the control group(77.5%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion On the basis of Ribavirin,Resuqing Granule in the treatment of hand-footmouth diseases can shorten the time of abating fever,improve clinical symptoms,shorten the course of disease in high efficacy and safety,which is worthy of promotion and application.
