Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical indications of perioperative blood transfusion in elderly patients with hip fracture. Methods A total of 200 elderly patients with hip fracture admitted to the Lianjiang People′s Hospital of Guangdong Province from July 2019 to May 2020 were selected as the research objects and divided into experimental group (100 cases) and control group (100 cases) according to the computer randomized method. The control group was treated with blood transfusion when the hemoglobin(Hb)<70 g/L,and the experimental group treated with blood transfusion when Hb <100 g/L. The total incidence of complications, anemia correction time, incision healing time and hospital stay time were compared between the two groups. Results The total incidence of complications in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The time of anemia correction in the experimental group was shorter than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in incision healing time and hospital stay time between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The elderly patients with hip fracture receive blood transfusion intervention under the condition of perioperative blood transfusion indication, which can promote the improvement of anemia signs quickly and has certain value.
