Abstract:Objective To explore the implementation effect of self-management model in patients with chronic kidney disease. Methods Sixty-eight patients with chronic kidney disease admitted to our hospital from August 2016 to August 2018 were selected as the study subjects, they were divided into experimental group and control group by random number table method, 34 cases in each group. The reference group used routine nursing intervention and the experimental group took self-management mode intervention.Self-management ability scores, serum creatinine (SCr) and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) levels were compared between the two groups before and after intervention. Results Before intervention, there were no significant differences in the scores and total scores of self-management ability between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention, the self-management ability scores of the two groups were higher than those before the intervention (P<0.05).The self-management ability scores of the experimental group were higher than the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Before intervention, there were no significant differences in the levels of SCr and BUN between the two groups (P>0.05).After intervention, the SCr and BUN levels in the reference group were significantly higher than those before intervention (P<0.05).After intervention, the SCr and BUN levels in the experimental group were not significantly different from those before the intervention (P>0.05).The SCr and BUN levels after the intervention of the experimental group were lower than those of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The use of self-management intervention mode in patients with chronic kidney disease can improve the self-management level of patients and help to delay the progression of the disease, which is worthy of clinical application.
