Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of behavioral and environmental nursing intervention on pain and vital signs in neonatal radial artery blood collection. Methods A total of 200 neonates treated in Guancheng Hospital of Dongguan City from March 2018 to March 2019.were selected, they were randomly divided into control group and study group,100 cases in each group. All neonates were selected for radial artery blood collection. The control group was given routine nursing, the study group was given behavioral and environmental nursing intervention based on routine nursing. The pain and vital signs of the two groups were compared. Results The neonatal pain score of the study group was(2.70±0.69)points and that of the control group was(7.78±1.77)points.The neonatal pain score of the study group was lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The heart rate, mean arterial pressure, oxygen saturation and respiratory rate of the study group before and after blood collection had no statistically significance(P>0.05).The heart rate, mean arterial pressure and oxygen saturation of the control group after blood collection were higher than those before blood collection, and the respiratory rate was lower than that before blood collection, with statistical differences(P<0.05);The heart rate, mean arterial pressure and respiratory rate of the study group after blood collection were lower than those of the control group, and the oxygen saturation of blood was higher than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The duration of crying during blood collection in the study group was (7.55±3.10) s,while that in the control group was (15.44±6.99) s.The duration of crying in the study group was shorter than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion For newborns, the application of behavioral and environmental nursing intervention in radial artery blood collection can not only alleviate pain, but also keep vital signs stable. It has significant clinical value and is worth popularizing and applying.
