Influence analysis of personalized health education on medical disputes among family members of hospitalized children with hand,foot and mouth disease

Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of personalized health education on medical disputes among family members of hospitalized children with hand,foot and mouth disease (HFMD).Methods A total of 106 hospitalized children with HFMD treated in our hospital from September 2017 to June 2018 were selected.According to the principle of randomized control,they were divided into group A and group B,53 cases in each group.One family member was designated as caregiver for each child.A total of 106 family members were included in the study.Group B the family members were given routine health education.Group A was given personalized health education for family members.The cognitive level of the family members of the children to the disease,the compliance of the family members to the health behavior of the disease,hospitalization time and nursing satisfaction were observed.Results The cognitive rate of family members of group A was higher than that of group B,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The compliance of family members of group A was higher than that of group B,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The hospitalization time of group A was shorter than that of group B,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The total nursing satisfaction of group A was higher than that of group B,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no medical dispute between group A and group B,there was no significance difference in the incidence of medical disputes between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion Personalized health education has a positive effect on the cognition and behavior of family members of hospitalized children with HFMD and has a positive effect on reducing medical disputes.
