Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of process quality control in nosocomial infection of hospitalized critical patients. Methods A total of 200 hospitalized critical patients admitted to our hospital from February 2015 to February 2016 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into observation group and control group according to the method of drawing lots, with 100 cases in each group. The observation group adopted the method of process quality control, while the control group adopted the conventional method of monitoring. The incidence of positive ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP),catheter-related urinary tract infection, central venous catheter-related blood flow infection and management quality scores were compared between the two groups. Results The VAP infection rate of the observation group was 2.00%,which was lower than that of the control group (10.00%),and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The incidence of catheter-related urinary tract infection in the observation group was 5.00%,which was lower than that in the control group (20.00%),and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The central venous catheter-related bloodstream infection rate was 7.00% in the observation group, which was lower than that in the control group (25.00%),the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The management quality score of hospitalized critically ill patients after management of the observation group was (90.12±0.25) points, which was higher than that of the control group for (81.25±2.11) points, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion After the implementation of process quality monitoring in hospitalized critical patients, significant results have been achieved, which can not only reduce the incidence of VAP infection,catheter-related urinary tract infection, central venous catheter-related blood flow infection, but also improve the quality of patient management score.
