Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of premature rupture of membranes in full term on delivery mode and maternal and child outcomes,so as to provide basis for perinatal health care and prevention of complications. Methods A total of 370 pregnant women with premature rupture of membranes in full term in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology,Jiangxi Provincial People′s Hospital from January 2016 to January 2019 were enrolled as the observation group. The other 370 pregnant women without premature rupture of membranes were randomly selected during the same period as the control group. The delivery methods, chorionitis, puerperal disease rate and neonatal asphyxia incidence were compared between the two groups. Results The cesarean section rate in the observation group (47.6%) was higher than that in the control group (28.6%),and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The incidence rates of chorionitis, puerperal diseases and neonatal asphyxia in the observation group (28.1%,9.5%,8.9%) were higher than those in the control group (7.0%,1.6%,3.0%),and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with the pregnant women without preterm premature rupture of membranes in full term, the cesarean section rate of the pregnant women with preterm premature rupture of membranes in full term is increased, and the incidence of maternal and infant complications is also increased. It is suggested that perinatal health care should strengthen management in terms of prevention and treatment of vaginitis, reduction of drug abuse, balanced nutrition, and reduction of sexual life in the third trimester of pregnancy. At the same time, pregnant women with preterm premature rupture of membranes in full term should terminate pregnancy in time and strengthen prevention and treatment of infection to reduce maternal and infant complications.
