Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of Glucocorticoid adjuvant therapy on Mycoplasma pneumoniae lobar pneumonia in children. Methods A total of 40 cases of children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae lobar pneumonia admitted to our hospital from July to October 2018 were selected as research objects. The patients were divided into control group and observation group by random touching method,20 cases in each group. The control group was received conventional treatment respectively. The observation group was received Glucocorticoid treatment on top of conventional basic treatment.Clinical observation indexes, adverse reactions and pulmonary function improvement were compared between the two groups. Results The fever abatement time, cough relief time, moist rale disappearance time,X-ray recovery time and hospitalization time of the patients in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the overall incidence of adverse reactions such as facial flushing, abdominal pain, heart rate acceleration, rash and the control group had no significant difference(P>0.05).The first second forced respiratory volame(FEV1),forced vital capacity(FVC),peak expiratory flow(PEF)of the patients in the two groups before treatment had no significant difference(P>0.05).FEV1,FVC and PEF in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion Glucocorticoid adjuvant therapy for children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae lobar pneumonia can improve the clinical efficacy of patients with high application value.
