Abstract:Chorioamnionitis is an inflammatory reaction of maternal placenta. It has a high incidence in maternal women and can cause serious complications. It is also closely related to the prognosis of neonatal diseases, which seriously endangers the safety of pregnant women and newborns. At present, the incidence of chorioamnionitis is increasing year by year, which may cause adverse effects such as premature rupture of membranes, premature delivery, pregnancy and neonatal infection. The intrauterine inflammatory response of the mother can directly lead to an increase in the prevalence of neonates, especially in respiratory diseases,so early identification and rapid diagnosis can help reduce the recent complications of the mother and child and improve the long-term prognosis of the newborn. This article reviews the relationship between chorioamnionitis and neonatal respiratory diseases.
