Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with triple sequential therapy of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of senile knee osteoarthritis.Methods From February 2018 to January 2019,80 elderly patients with knee osteoarthritis treated in our hospital were selected as the subjects.They were divided into observation group and control group according to the principle of random control,with 40 cases in each group.The control group received conventional clinical rehabilitation treatment,and the observation group added acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine triple therapy sequential treatment on this basis.Before and 2 weeks after the intervention,the patients were evaluated by knee osteoarthritis severity index(ISOA)and the efficacy was evaluated.Results After treatment,the ISOA scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine is effective in the treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee joint in the elderly.It can be used in clinical treatment and has popularization value.
