Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect and safety of 5-aminolevulinic acid photodynamic therapy and Recombinant Human Interferon α-2b Gel in the treatment of cervical high-risk human papilloma virus (HPV) persistent infection, so as to provide reference for clinicians to select a reasonable treatment plan. Methods A total of 86 patients with cervical high-risk HPV persistent infection diagnosed and treated in Shenyang Madein Women′s and Children′s Hospital from September 2017 to November 2018 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table method, 43 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with 5-aminolevulinic acid photodynamic therapy, while the control group was treated with Recombinant Human Interferon α-2b Gel. The total effective rate of clinical treatment, HPV negative time, symptom disappearance time, inflammatory factor (interleukin-6 [IL-6], interleukin-8 [IL-8], tumor necrosis factor-α [TNF-α]) levels and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of clinical treatment in the observation group was 93.02%, which was higher than 74.42% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The negative time of HPV and the disappearance time of symptoms in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The levels of inflammatory factors in the observation group after treatment were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There were no serious adverse reactions in both groups. Conclusion In the treatment of cervical high-risk HPV persistent infection, both 5-aminolevulinic acid photodynamic therapy and Recombinant Human Interferon α-2b Gel can achieve clinical results and higher safety, but 5-aminolevulinic acid photodynamic therapy has better clinical effect and can promote recovery of patients, which is worth learning.
