Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical significance of anti-nuclear antibody (ANA) positive rate in different TCM syndromes of acute cerebral infarction. Methods All of 120 hospitalized patients with acute cerebral infarction diagnosed for the first time from October 2017 to September 2018 were selected and divided into liver-yang hyperactivity group, wind-phlegm blocking collaterals group, phlegm-heat fu-shi group, qi deficiency and blood stasis group, yin deficiency and wind-induced hyperactivity group by TCM dialectics.Another 30 outpatient health examinees were selected as the healthy control group.Indirect immunofluorescence technique was used to detect serum ANA in patients with acute cerebral infarction and health examinees.ANA positive rate among different syndromes were statistically analyzed. Results The positive rate of ANA in acute cerebral infarction group was significantly higher than that in healthy control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The positive rate of ANA in each syndrome type of acute cerebral infarction group was higher than that of healthy control group. The results were as follows∶qi deficiency and blood stasis group >yin deficiency and wind-induced hyperactivity group >liver-yang hyperactivity group>phlegm-heat and fu-shi excess group >wind-phlegm blocking collaterals group >healthy control group.Compared with healthy control group, the positive rate of ANA in qi deficiency and blood stasis group, yin deficiency and windinduced hyperactivity group and liver-yang hyperactivity group had statistical significances (P<0.05).Conclusion The positive rate of ANA in patients with acute cerebral infarction of different TCM syndromes is different. It can be used as an objective basis for TCM classification. The positive rate of ANA in patients with acute cerebral infarction of qi deficiency and blood stasis type, yin deficiency and wind-induced hyperactivity type and liver-yang hyperactivity type was significantly higher than that in healthy control group, which may be related to the serious autoimmune disorders in these three types of patients.
