Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of prophylactic intravenous Changtuoning on intraoperative chills in patients with acute appendicitis.Methods A total of 62 patients with acute appendicitis who underwent operation in our hospital from October 2015 to February 2017 were selected as research subjects.According to the time of admission,they were randomly divided into control group and observation group,31 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were anesthetized with intravenous Pethidine,and patients in the observation group were anesthetized with intravenous Penehyclidine Hydrochloride.The changes of vital signs like blood oxygen saturation(SpO2),mean arterial pressure (MAP),and heart rate (HR)before and after medication,the total incidence rate of chills and adverse reactions after medication were observed and compared between the two groups.Results There were no significant differences in SpO2,HR and MAP between the two groups before injection(P>0.05).The SpO2at 5,10,15 and 20 min after injection of the drug in the control group was significantly lower than that before injection,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The SpO2at 5,10,15 and 20 min after injection of the drug in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in HR and MAP between the two groups at 5,10,15 and 20 min after injection(P>0.05).The total incidence rate of chills in the observation group was 6.45%,which was significantly lower than that in the control group(22.58%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence rate of adverse reactions in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The intravenous injection of Penehyclidine Hydrochloride can prevent the occurrence of chills in patients with acute appendicitis,and has no effect on the temperature,HR and blood pressure of patients,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
