Abstract:Objective To investigate the characteristic and clinical diagnostic significance of ultrasonic indirect signs of acute appendicitis. Methods From January 2014 to December 2015,74 patients with acute appendicitis treated in our hospital were selected as the research objects. All patients were examined by color Doppler ultrasonography, and the indirect signs and diagnostic significance were analyzed. Results The ileocecal edema, local strong echogenicity, local effusion and lymph node enlargement of the patients in the ultrasound detection group were compared with the surgical detection group, and the differences were not statistically significant (P>0.05).The ileocecal edema, local strong echogenicity, local effusion and lymph node enlargement of the patients in the ultrasound undetected group were compared with the surgical detection group, and the differences were not statistically significant (P>0.05).The detection rate of increased peristalsis of the patients in the ultrasound undetected group was compared with the ultrasound detection group, and the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05),while the detection rate of lymph node enlargement, mixed lump, tenderness and rebound tenderness were higher than the patients in the ultrasound detection group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The indirect signs of appendicitis in acute appendicitis have a good effect on the diagnosis. The ileocecal edema, local strong echogenicity, tenderness and rebound tenderness, mixed lump as the main observation index in the diagnosis of acute appendicitis, worthy of clinical application.
