Abstract:Objective To investigate the application effect of soft shell technique in phacoemulsification of cataract. Methods All of 30 patients (30 eyes)who underwent phacoemulsification treated in Binhai Hospital of Yingkou Aier Ophthalmology from April to September 2018 were selected.Duo Visc viscoelastic agent soft shell technique was used to protect the corneal endothelium during the operation. The best visual acuity, naked visual acuity and corneal endothelial cell related indexes were compared before and after operation inpatients. Results The best visual acuity correction and naked eye vision improvement after operation were better than those before operation (P<0.05).The coefficient of variation of cell area after operation was higher than that before operation, and the hexagonal cells were lower than that before operation, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Soft shell technique can effectively improve the best visual acuity and naked visual acuity of patients with cataract phacoemulsification, and it will not cause serious damage to corneal endothelium, which is worthy of clinical reference and implementation.
