Abstract：ObjectiveTo study the clinical effect of phacoemulsification in the treatment of angle closure glaucoma.MethodsEighty-two patients with angle closure glaucoma treated in our hospital from June 2014 to May 2016 were selected as the research objects.All patients were randomly divided into two groups,the study group and the control group,41 cases in each group.Patients of the control group were treated with trabeculectomy,and the study group was given phacoemulsification cataract extraction.The visual acuity,intraocular pressure,the anterior chamber depth and the adhesion and closure of angle in the two groups before and after treatmentwere compared.ResultsVision and intraocular pressure of the research group after treatment[(0.78±0.10)°,(12.39±7.60)mmHg]was better than thatbefore treatment [(0.23±0.12)°,(35.89±11.50)mmHg]and the control group after treatment[(0.56±0.07)°,(16.52±9.67)mmHg],the differenceswere statistically significant(P<0.05);the anterior chamber depth and the adhesion and closure of angle of the research group after treatment[(3.52±0.50)mm,(58.56±26.27)°]was better than that before treatment[(1.60±0.32)mm, (284.11±37.30)°]and the control group after treatment[(1.79±0.38)mm,(206.21±38.74)°],the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionThe phacoemulsification for patientswith angle closure glaucoma treatment is safe and reliable,with good clinical effect,and can effectively improve the visual acuity and intraocular pressure,should be widely used in clinical practice.
