Abstract:Objective To compare the clinical effect of multiple root canal therapy and disposable root canal therapy treating tooth body and endodontic disease in children. Methods A total of 165 children with tooth body and endodontic disease treated in our hospital from November 2016 to November 2017 were selected and they were divided into the two groups according to different treatment methods.82 patients in the control group were treated with multiple root canal.83 patients in the observation group were treated with disposable root canal. The clinical efficacy and the incidence of complications between the two groups were compared. Results There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups(χ2=0.09,P>0.05).The pain disappearance time in the observation group([2.01±0.30]d)was shorter than that in the control group([2.17±0.20]d),and the difference was statistically significant(t=3.91,P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups(χ2=0.00,P>0.05).Conclusion Disposable root canal therapy and multiple root canal therapy treating tooth body and endodontic disease can achieve ideal results in children with tooth body and endodontic disease, and the pain disappearance time after disposable root canal therapy is shorter.
