Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of laparoscopic treatment of acute appendicitis in children. Methods A total of 78 children with acute appendicitis admitted to our hospital from September 12 to December 15,2017 were selected as the research objects, and divided into control group and observation group with 39 cases in each group by random number table method. The observation group was given laparoscopic surgery while the control group was given routine laparotomy. The clinical indexes(hospitalization time, intraoperative blood loss, anal exhaust time, ambulation time)and complication rate (incision infection, abdominal abscess, adhesive intestinal obstruction)of the two groups were observed and compared. Results The hospitalization time, anal exhaust time and ambulation time of children in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the amount of bleeding during operation was less than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic surgery for acute appendicitis in children has a high clinical value.it can speed up the recovery of the body after surgery on the basis of reducing the incidence of complications and is worthy of application and promotion.
