Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of neoadjuvant chemotherapy combined with laparoscopic surgery on advanced colorectal cancer. Methods Eighty-eight patients with advanced colorectal cancer admitted to our hospital from September 2014 to September 2016 were selected as the research object, and randomly divided into study group and reference group, with 44 cases in each group. The reference group was treated with laparoscopic surgery, while the study group was treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy before laparoscopic surgery. The clinical effects and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in the operation time between the two groups(P>0.05).However,the anal exhaust time and hospitalization time in the study group were significantly shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).The recurrence rate, lymph node metastasis rate and complication rate in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of neoadjuvant chemotherapy combined with laparoscopic surgery in the treatment of patients with advanced colorectal cancer can effectively improve the clinical efficacy, reduce the recurrence and metastasis rate, promote the recovery of patients, and the safety is relatively high, which is worthy of further clinical promotion.
