Effect of the nursing management mode of information-motivation-behavioral skills model on the compliance behavior and quality of life in the patients with limb dysfunction after stroke

Abstract:Objective To observe the effects of the nursing management mode of information-motivation-behavioral skills (IMB)model on the compliance behavior and quality of life in the patients with limb dysfunction after stroke.Methods A total of 120 stroke patients who were admitted to our hospital from July 2016 to July 2017 were selected as the study subjects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into control group and study group,60 casec in each group.The control group was given conventional rehabilitation nursing intervention.The study group was given IMB nursing management model on the basis of the control group.The treatment compliance,daily living ability,muscle strength and quality of life were observed between two groups.Results After intervention,the treatment compliance,daily living ability and quality of life scores in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the muscle strength of the affected limb in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The IMB nursing management model intervention can be applied in the patients with limb dysfunction after stroke,which can effectively improve the recovery of patients′limb function,improve treatment enthusiasm,improve self-care ability in daily life and quality of life,and promote patient recovery.
