Abstract:ObjectiveTo study and determine the application value of PDCA cycle management intervention for patients with severe high risk of tumble.MethodsA total of 120 patients with severe high risk of tumble treated in our hospital were selected as research objects from February 2015 to January 2016.According to different management measures, they were evenly divided into control group and observation group,60 cases in each group. In the control group, conventional nursing management was applied, while in the observation group,on the basis of the conventional nursing,PDCA cycle management was added. The rate of falling, nursing satisfaction score, score of nursing management quality, and quality of life between the two groups were compared.ResultsIn the observation group, after PCDA cycle management intervention, the rate of falling down was 3.33%,lower than that in the control group accounting for 23.33%(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction was 100.00%in the observation group, higher than that in the control group (73.33%)(P<0.05).The quality of life also had significant advantages in the observation group compared with the control group (P<0.05).ConclusionThe application of PDCA cycle management intervention to prevent severe high-risk tumble has a significant value. It can reduce the falling rate and improve the quality of life,so as to improve the nursing satisfaction, which is worthy of promotion in clinical practice.
