Effect of health education implemented by PDCA circulation method on quality of life and pregnancy outcome in pregnant women with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of the health education based on PDCA circulation method on quality of life and pregnancy outcome in pregnant women with gestational hypertension.Methods 88 pregnant women with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy from July 2015 to September 2016 were selected as the study subjects,the random number table method was used to divide them into two groups,each with 44 cases.The pregnant women in control group were received routine health education,the pregnant women in observation group were received the health education based on PDCA circulation method.The quality scores of life,mental state scores and pregnancy outcome of pregnant women in two groups were compared.Results After nursing,the scores of pregnant women in the two groups were significantly increased,and the observation group was higher than the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The SAS and SDS scores of observation group were lower than the control group after nursing,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The incidence of preterm labor,premature rupture of membranes,excessive amniotic fluid,cesarean section and neonatal asphyxia in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The health education based on PDCA circulation method can effectively improve the quality of life in pregnant women of gestational hypertension,reduce their psychological burden and can improve their pregnancy outcomes,it is worthy of clinical promotion.
