Application effect of community continuity nursing in patients with cerebral apoplexy

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of community continuity nursing in stroke patients.Methods From October 2015 to July 2016,110 patients with stroke in Baoan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital were evenly divided into control group and the research group according to the discharge order,with 55 cases in each group.In the control group,routine nursing such as family care after discharge was used.In the research group,on the basis of the routine nursing,community continuity nursing was provided.The nursing effect of the two groups was observed.Results After discharge,the compliance scores of regular drug administration,reasonablediet,return visit on schedule,and periodic exercise in the research group were all higher than that those in the control group with statistical differences(P＜0.05).The scores of the quality of nursing staff,nursingattitude,nursing service content,and nursing satisfaction by patients in the research group were significantly higher than that in the control group （P＜0.05）.In the research group，the BI index scores in the 1，3，and 6-months nursing after discharge were greatly higher than those in the control group,which were displayed statistical significance (P＜0.05).Conclusion Community continuity nursing can effectively improve the daily living ability of stroke patients,and enhance the patient′s treatment compliance as well as nursing satisfaction and professional quality of medical staff,which is worthy of clinical application.
