Abstract:Objective To systematically evaluate the effect of topical oxygen therapy treating neonatal diaper dermatitis. Methods The Cochrane Library,PubMed,Embase,China Biomedical Database,China Knowledge Database,VIP Database and Wanfang Database were searched. The search date was from database construction to June 2017.Randomized controlled trials of topical oxygen therapy or topical oxygen therapy combined with other treatments treating neonatal diaper dermatitis were collected. After evaluating the quality according to the Cochrane manual 5.1.0,literature data were extracted and Meta analysis was performed using RevMan 5.3 software. Results A total of 16 randomized controlled trials were included in,and there were 2317 patients. The results of Meta-analysis show that:in terms of the total effective rate, topical oxygen therapy or topical oxygen therapy combined with other treatments methods was significantly better than other treatments with a significant difference(OR=9.07,95%CI[6.01,13.70],P<0.00001);in the healing time, topical oxygen therapy or topical oxygen therapy combined with other treatments methods was significantly better than other treatments with a significant difference (MD=-1.96,95%CI[-2.85,-1.06],P<0.00001);in terms of satisfaction degree, one study suggested that the satisfaction rate of pediatric patients and nursing staff in the local oxygen therapy group was higher than that of control group;in adverse reactions,it did not increase the occurrence of adverse reactions. Conclusion Existing research shows that application of topical oxygen therapy can improve the total effective rate of treating, shorten the healing time, increase the satisfaction degree of pediatric patients and nursing staff, and it does not increase the occurrence of adverse reactions.
