Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical value of clustering care for neonatal ventilator-associated pneumonia. Methods 80 neonates treated with ventilators treated in our hospital from January to December 2017 were selected and divided into two groups according with different nursing methods,40 cases in each group. The observation group was implemented clustered nursing interventions, and the control group was implemented routine care, including general nursing, dietary intervention, health education upon admission and discharge, and regular visits. Then the invasive ventilator treatment and total length of stay between the two groups with newborn infants, the treatment of neonatal jaundice and the use of blue light, and the improvement of clinical symptoms in both groups were compared. Results The using of invasive ventilator, the total length of stay time in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).The recovery time of the neonatal jaundice, the time of blue light irradiation in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group (P<0.05).The time of fever subsidence, time with dry and wet lung sound and the time of shortness breath in the observation group were significantly earlier than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of bundled care for neonatal pneumonia can short the number of children, and the ventilator time and length stay time,so it can reduce the occurrence of pathological jaundice and relieve the clinical symptoms.
