Abstract:Objective To analyze the relationship between surgical incision infection and related factors of operating care management in the operating room as a basis for clinical nursing in order to decrease the incidence of infection. Methods A total of 2025 general surgical patients admitted to our hospital from March 2016 to September 2017 were enrolled as research subjects. The clinical data of these patients were analyzed retrospectively to calculate the incidence of surgical incision infection and analyze the related factors.ResultsThe univariate analysis showed that the relevant risk factors affecting surgical incision infection were operation time, type of surgery, whether it was a continuous operation, whether it was an invasive operation, whether antibiotics used prophylactically, and whether someone observing operation with statistical significance(P<0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that the independent risk factors leading to surgical incision infection were operative time>2 hours, continuous operation, invasive operation, and preventive use of antibiotics(P<0.05,OR>1).Conclusion There are many clinical factors that cause surgical incision infection in patients. Therefore,in the nursing management of the operating room, nursing measures should be drafted and regulated targeted on the specific factors in order to reduce the incidence of incision infection and ensure the health and safety of patients.
