Analysis of clinical data of 140 hematological disease patients com p licated with infection

Abstract:Objective To explore the infection-related factors,the location of infection in hematological disease patients complicated with infection so as to provide clinical reference for reduction of the infection rate.Methods 140 patients with hematological diseases complicated with infection in our hospital from June 2011 to September 2013 were selected as the research group.The index of the factors of infection,the location of infection,pathogenic bacteria and other indicatorswas analyzed.Results The infection rate in patientsmore than 60 years old and less than or equal to 3 years old were 37.86%and 32.86%respectively,which was higher than that of other age group,with significant difference (P<0.05).The infection rate in patients whose chemotherapy duration more than 14 days,hospitalization stay more than 21 days and white blood cell less than or equal to 1.0×109/L were higher than that of patients whose chemotherapy duration less than or equal to 14 days,hospitalization stay less than or equal to 21 days and white blood cellmore than 1.0× 109/L(65.71%versus 34.29%,74.29%versus 25.71%and 55.71%versus 44.29%respectively),with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).The infection rate in different sites (including the respiratory tract,blood,oral cavity,urinary tract,digestive tract,skin and crissum)was 32.86%,20.00%,16.43%,14.29%,9.29%and 7.14%respectively.The infection rates of Gram-negative bacteria,Gram-positive bacteria and fungiwere 55.71%,35.00%and 9.29%,with significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion The patientswith hematological diseases complicated with infection aremainly associated with age,chemotherapy duration and hospitalization stay,white blood cells,etc..The infection sites include respiratory tract,blood,oral cavity and urinary tract,which aremainly infected by Gram-negative bacteria.
