Abstract:Objective To investigate the relevance of cognitive dysfunction and cerebral arteriosclerosis in patients with primary Parkinson disease. Methods Al1 of 188 patients with Parkinson disease treated in our hospital from January 2013 to June 2016 were selected as the study sbiects. The patients were given transcranial Doppler ultrasound to assess cerebral arteriosclerosis.According to the result of cerebral arteriosclerosis, they were divided into Parkinson complicated with cerebral arteriosclerosis group (group A,75 cases)and Parkinson without cerebral artery atherosclerosis group(group B,113 cases).80 cases healthy people were selected as the control group.Montreal cognitive assessment scale(MoCA)was applied to test cognitive function. The relevance of the total score of MoCA and the ultrasonic index was analyzed by Spearman. Results PI,RI of MCA and BA in group A were significantly higher than those of group B and the control group (P<0.05).Vm,Vd of MCA and BA in group A were significantly lower than those of group B and the control group(P<0.05).The rate of the cognitive disorder in group A was significantly higher than that of group B(χ2=12.35,P<0.05).MoCA score of group A was significantly higher than that of group B and control group (t=8.27,5.21,P<0.05).The total score of MoCA was negatively correlated with PI and RI of BA and MCA (r=-0.315,-0.203,-0.329,-0.214,P<0.05).Conclusion There is a close relationship between the cognitive dysfunction and cerebral arteriosclerosis in patients with Parkinson disease.Preventive treatment of cerebral arteriosclerosis in patients with primary Parkinson disease should be carried out.
