Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effectiveness of125Iparticles implantation in the treatment of retroperitoneal lymph nodemetastasis cancers.M ethods Altogether 54 patients with retroperitoneal lymph nodemetastasis cancers treated in our department of oncology from July 2011 to April 2015 were selected research study.CT-guided percutaneous puncture and iodine-125 particles implantation were performed for retroperitoneal lymph node metastasis cancers patients, the number of implanted particles varied according to the size of lesions(10-100 particles)and underwent iodine-125 particles implantation in retroperitonealmetastasis lymph nodes cancers. The tumor local control rate and pain controlwere observed and analyzed. Results Among 54 cases of retroperitoneal lymph nodemetastasis cancers,41 patients suffered from pain and remission rate of pain control after 1 month was 92.7%.Evaluation of local curative effects for retroperitonealmetastasis cancers:ORR after 2monthswas 94.4%,with 94.4%after 4months.Followed-up for 4-54 months, median PFS (progression-free survival)was 10.7 months.Conclusion125I particles implantation in the treatment of retroperitoneal lymph nodemetastasis cancers serves as a safe and effectiveminimally invasive treatment, which can significantly reduce the pain symptoms and control the progress of local tumors.
