Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the application effect of Dexmedetomidine in patients undergone radical resection of esophageal cancer by total endoscope.MethodsFrom January 2015 to June 2017,56 patients accepted radical resection of esophageal cancer under total endoscope were selected and evenly divided into the observation group and the control group by a random number table method.In the observation group,Dexmedetomidine was pumped after tracheal intubation for general anesthesia,while in the control group,the same amount of normal saline was pumped.The operation effect,and the VAS and NRS scores in the two groups were observed and compared.ResultsIn the observation group,the recovery time of spontaneous breathing,eye-opening time,and extubation time were all significantly shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05).The incidence of complications and intraoperative awareness rate in the observation group were both greatly lower in comparison with those in the control group (P<0.05).The VAS and NRS scores in the observation group were significantly lower compared with those in the control group(P<0.05).ConclusionFor patients undergone radical resection of esophageal cancer by total endoscope,application of Dexmedetomidine can markedly shorten the extubation time and respiratory recovery time,and decreases the scores of VAS and NRS,which is worthy of promotion and application.
