Objective To explore the recent effects of basal ganglia hemorrhage by transcranial puncture treatment. Methods 58 patients with basal ganglia hemorrhage treated in our hospital from June 2013 to December 2015 were randomly divided into conservative group (n=25)and puncture group (n=33).Patients in the conservative group were given conventionalmedical treatment, including timely reducing intracranial pressure, controling blood pressure, nurturing nerve and symptomatic and supportive treatment etc, patients in the puncture group were treated by a YL-l type disposable intracranial hemorrhage smash puncture needle on basic of conventionalmedical treatment, patients in two groups were followed up for 3months,the fatality rate and activities of daily life (ADL)in two groupswere recorded and compared. Results The fatality rate in the puncture group was 15.2%,with 32.0%in the conservative group, the difference was significantly significant(P<0.05);survivors′ADL grade ADL1-3accounted for 71.4%in the puncture group, which was 35.3%in the conservative group, which showed significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusion YL-1 type disposable intracranial hemorrhage smash puncture needle in treatment of basal ganglia hemorrhage is a simple, fast and accurate positioning, less traumati, low fatality rate and deserves to be promoted for clinical performance.
