Effect of combination of evidence-based medicine strategy and humanbased nursing on comfort,nursing satisfaction and quality of life in patients with intestinal obstruction during gastrointestinal decompression

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of evidence-based medicine strategy combined with human-based nursing on comfort,nursing satisfaction and quality of life in patients with intestinal obstruction during gastrointestinal decompression.Methods A total of 82 patients with intestinal obstruction admitted to Ezhou Second Hospital in Hubei Province from October 2019 to October 2020 were selected as the research objects.They were divided into the observation group(41 cases)and the control group(41 cases)according to the random number table method.The control group was used routine nursing intervention,the observation group was used evidence-based medicine strategy combined with human-based nursing,the comfort,nursing satisfaction,and quality of life between the two groups were compared.Results The general comfort question (GCQ)score of the two groups after intervention were higher than those before the intervention,and the GCQ score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The Newcastle nursing satisfaction scale(NSNS)after the intervention of the two groups were higher than those before the intervention,the NSNS score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The generic quality of life Inventory-74(GQOL-74)scores of the two groups after the intervention were higher than those before the intervention,the GQOL-74 score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Evidence-based medicine strategy combined with human-based nursing during gastrointestinal decompression for patients with intestinal obstruction can improve patients′comfort and nursing satisfaction,improve patients′quality of life,and have high application value.
