Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO)step-by-step nursing intervention in reducing chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)airway inflammation. Methods A total of 60 COPD patients admitted to the First People′s Hospital of Jiujiang City from February 2019 to February 2021 were selected and divided into two groups according to the random number table method,30 cases in each group. The control group adopted conventional FeNO nursing measures, and the observation group adopted individualized stepwise nursing intervention according to the FeNO detection status and result data.Intervention for 3 months. The comfort level,FeNO value, lung function,self-care ability and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The self-care ability scale (ESCA)score and comfort level of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,FeNO after intervention was lower than that of the control group, the level of forced expiratory volume in 1 second (FEV1)was higher than that of the control group, the nursing total satisfaction was 93.33.%,higher than 73.33% in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion FeNO stepped nursing intervention can improve the comfort and self-care ability of COPD patients, improve the lung function of patients, and increase nursing satisfaction.
