Abstract： Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of compound Chlorhexidine Gargle combined with Tinidazole on periodontal disease.Methods A total of 70 patients with periodontal disease admitted to Diaobingshan People,s Hospital of Liaoning Province from January 2019 to January 2020 were selected as the research subjects, and were divided into observation group (35 cases) and control group (35 cases) according to random number table method.The observation group was treated with Compound Chlorhexidine Gargle combined with Tinidazole, while the control group was treated with Tinidazole, both groups were treated for 4 weeks.Oral health impact profile (OHIP-14) score, inflammatory factors, visual analogue scale (VAS) score, tooth looseness, gingival index, plaque index, periodontal attachment index,treatment effect and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The OHIP-14 score of the observation group after treatment was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).After treatment, the levels of interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-1β (IL-1β), tumor necrosis factor -α (TNF-α)and matrix metalloproteinase-3 (MMP-3) in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).After treatment, VAS score, tooth looseness, gingival index, plaque index and periodontal attachment index in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).The total effective rate of observation group was higher than control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P＞0.05).Conclusion Compound Chlorhexidine Gargle combined with Tinidazole can effectively control the inflammation of periodontal disease, improve the quality of life of periodontal patients and periodontal patients, with definite curative effect, which is worthy of promotion.
