Abstract:ObjectiveTo study the clinical effect of orthodontic treatment treating anterior teeth displacement caused by periodontal disease.MethodsFifty patients with anterior teeth displacement caused by periodontal diseases from March 2013 to May 2015 treated in our hospital were selected as research objects.On the basis of the basic treatment of periodontal disease,theorthodontic treatment was provided.The depth of periodontal pocket,tooth bleeding,anterior alveolar height,overlying and covering index of anterior teeth indexes were compared before treatment,end of treatment and after 1 year treatment.ResultsAfter treatment,at the end of treatment,the depth of periodontal pocket,tooth bleeding,anterior alveolar height,overlying and covering index of anterior teeth indexes were significantly improved compared with before treatment(P<0.05).After 1 year treatment,the above indexes were all good.All 50 patients were successfully completed the treatment.All patients had normal periodontal ligament clearance.The anastomosis degree of tooth occlusion was higher,and the loosening of teeth was improved,which accords with the aesthetic requirements of patients.ConclusionOrthodontic treatment for anterior teeth displacement caused by periodontal disease has a good effect on periodontal control.It improves the masticatory function of patients,maintains the beautiful periodontal appearance in a remarkable effect,and it is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
