Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of guided tissue regeneration technology in the efficacy and safety of patients with periodontal disease. Methods A total of 64 patients with periodontal disease admitted to Shuncheng Branch of Fushun Stomatological Hospital from January 2019 to January 2020 were selected as study subjects and divided into the observation group (32 cases) and the control group (32 cases) according to random number table method. The control group adopted conventional treatment measures, while the observation group adopted guided tissue regeneration technology measures. The total therapeutic efficiency, the total incidence of adverse reactions, the total incidence of adverse emotions, and quality of life scores of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate and quality of life scores of the observation group after treatment were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The total incidence of adverse reactions and adverse emotions of the observation group after treatment were significantly lower than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05). Conclusion Guided tissue regeneration technique is more effective and safe in the treatment of patients with periodontal disease. The total effective rate, quality of life score are higher, and the incidence of adverse reactions and bad emotions were lower, so it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
