Abstract:Objectives To investigate the anxiety and depression of the parents of children with infantile hepatitis syndrome (IHS),and to analyze the related factors,so as to provide the basis for the intervention measures. Methods From August 2018 to July 2020,a total of 72 parents of infants with infantile hepatitis syndrome were selected as the research subjects. Self-made general information questionnaire,self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS) were used. Results The SAS and SDS scores of 72 IHS children parents were (60.52±5.67) point and(59.64±5.69) point,69 (95.80%) had different degrees of anxiety and 64 (88.90%) had different degrees of depression.Univariate analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in SAS scores among parents of IHS children with different gender, education background, occupation, monthly family income, payment method and with or without complications (P<0.05). The SDS scores of the parents of IHS children with different educational backgrounds, occupations, monthly family income, payment methods and without complications had statistical significance (P<0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis indicated that low educational background was an independent risk factor for SAS score of IHS children′s parents (P <0.05),while male caregivers and no complications were protective factors of SAS score (P<0.05). Low income family, parents unemployed or farming were independent risk factors for SDS score (P<0.05). Health insurance and no complications were protective factors for SDS score (P<0.05). Conclusion Parents of children with IHS have higher levels of anxiety and depression,as well as greater psychological stress, especially those with lower educational level, poor family economic conditions and poor prognosis. Focusing on such people, the existing psychological problems of targeted, personalized psychological counseling, improve their anxiety and depression, improve their mental health level so as to reduce their psychological burden.
