Clinical effect of Olanzapine combined with Paroxetine Hydrochloride in the treatment of depression

Abstract：Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Olanzapine combined with Paroxetine Hydrochloride in the treatment of depression. Methods A total of 88 patients with depression admitted to Hu′nan Brain Hospital from January to October 2020 were selected as the research objects and divided into the control group and the study group according to the random number table method, with 44 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Paroxetine Hydrochloride, and the study group was treated with Olanzapine combined with Paroxetine Hydrochloride. The total effective rate, Hamilton depression scale (HAMD) and quality of life scores were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After intervention, the HAMD score of the study group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After intervention, the quality of life score of patients in the study group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the clinical treatment of patients with depression, the effect of Olanzapine combined with Paroxetine Hydrochloride treatment is better, which can effectively relieve the symptoms of patients, effectively improve the negative emotions of patients and improve their quality of life. It has certain advantages and is suitable for widespread promotion.
