Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of Ketotifen combined with Salbutamol in the treatment of children with asthma.Methods A total of 72 children with asthma admitted in the Third Affiliated Hospital of CQMU from February 2019 to February 2020 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into a control group (36 cases) and a test group (36 cases) according to the lottery method.The patients in control group were treated with Salbutamol, and the patients in test group were treated with Salbutamol and Ketotifen.The clinical total effectiveness, day and night symptom scores, serum endothelin-1 (ET-1) and circulating endothelial cell (CEC) levels were compared between the two groups.Results The clinical effective rate of test group was higher than that in control group, the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).Before treatment, the differences in clinical symptom scores between the two groups were not statistically significant (P＞0.05);after treatment, the clinical symptom scores of two groups were all lower than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05);after treatment, the clinical symptom scores of the test group were lower than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before treatment, there were no statistically significant differences in the levels of ET-1 and CEC between the two groups(P＞0.05);after treatment, the levels of ET-1 and CEC in two groups were all lower than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05);after treatment, the levels of ET-1 and CEC in test group were lower than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the adverse reaction ratio between the two groups (P＞0.05).Conclusion Ketotifen combined with Salbutamol in the treatment of asthma is helpful to improve the effectiveness of the treatment, improve the clinical symptoms, and has high safety.
